1. Introduction

Teillo Technology Group ("Teillo", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through teillo.co.za (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, business name, location, and project details when you submit a contact or quote request form.
• Google Account information: if you sign in to any Teillo platform using "Sign in with Google," we access the basic profile information you authorize Google to share with us, namely your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Calendar, or any other Google service beyond this basic sign-in information.
• Google Sheets data (Relay clients only): if you are a Relay client and choose to connect a Google Sheet, we access the contact and lead list contained in that specific sheet, and may write status or activity updates back into it, solely to provide Relay's WhatsApp messaging and syncing feature. See Section 5 for details.
• Automatically collected information: pages visited, device and browser type, and general usage patterns, collected via Google Tag Manager and any analytics tags it loads (such as Google Analytics).
• Cookies: small files used to support site analytics and remember basic preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect, including data received from your Google Account, to:

• Respond to your enquiries and provide project quotes
• Contact you by email, phone, or WhatsApp about your enquiry
• Verify your identity, sign you in, and create and manage your account when you use "Sign in with Google"
• Provide, maintain, and improve the services you requested
• Improve our website, services, and marketing
• Meet legal, accounting, and security requirements

We will not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Site and process enquiries. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, and we may share, or process on behalf of our customers, the categories of personal data described above with these providers solely to deliver our products and services:

• Google Tag Manager / Analytics — website analytics and tag management
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — secure authentication (including "Sign in with Google") and storage of enquiry and lead data
• Resend — delivery of transactional and notification emails

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not transfer or disclose your information, including Google user data, to third parties for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy, except as required by law or with your consent.

5. Google User Data and Google API Services

If you sign in to a Teillo platform using "Sign in with Google," we access the basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) you authorize Google to share with us, solely to verify your identity and create and manage your account. Certain internal Teillo tools may also connect to Google Workspace APIs (such as Google Sheets) under our own business Google account, on a read-only basis, to sync business records such as lead enquiries.

Relay (Teillo's WhatsApp Business platform): if you are a Relay client, you may connect your own Google Sheet to Relay via Google Sheets API access that you explicitly authorize. Relay accesses this connected sheet to read the contact and lead list you maintain in it, so that you can message those contacts through WhatsApp. Relay may also write status or activity updates back into your connected sheet as part of this syncing feature. We only access the specific spreadsheet you connect, and only for the purpose of providing this messaging and syncing feature to you; we do not access any other files in your Google Drive.

We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising or serving ads. We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties except to the service providers listed above who help us operate our services, or where required by law. Teillo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We store your personal information, including any data obtained through your Google Account, for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain business records, provide the services you requested, and comply with legal obligations. When the retention period expires for a given type of data, or when it is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it.

You may request that we delete your personal information, including any Google Account data we hold, at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 11. We will action deletion requests, including revoking any associated Google account access, within a reasonable time unless we are required to retain the information by law.

7. Data Security

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data, including any Google user data. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, encrypted storage, and restricted, role-based access, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to how your information is processed
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
